Delaware is a small state. However, there are a number of local resources to support educators interested in Global learning opportunities.
Delaware Teachers Institute

A partnership between the University of Delaware and local school districts in which teachers participate in content-bases seminars over the course of what is equivalent to a semester. These are led by UD professors known as Seminar Leaders. Mentoring occurs within the structure as it not only is a seminar in which teachers learn, research, and write standards-based curriculum to support their students' learning but also an environment in which teachers are leading their colleagues/mentoring them.

Multiplying Good

This organization provides opportunities which are student-led to give back to their community. Our school has a chapter and we particiapte to work towards the SDG#2 Zero Hunger by working with a local food bank (within the community) to help provide food for those in need.
